It is important for us to have your current medical history as certain conditions and medications may affect your dental treatment as well as your oral health in general.

Private Health Insurance
At Northend Dental Co., we utilise HICAPS, an electronic health claim system that allows us to process your health fund claim automatically on the spot after your dental visit. Just remember to bring your card along to your appointment.
HICAPS is available to members of most private health funds in Australia
HICAPS also allows us to process EFTPOS payments, Medicare, Veterans Affairs and Worksafe Victoria claims.
Child dental BENEFITS SChedule
Northend Dental Co. participates in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) which provides basic dental services to children aged between 2 and 17 years old. They are eligible if they receive Family Tax Benefit A or other relevant Australian Government payments. Treatment is bulk billed through Medicare.
Dental services are capped at $1158 over 2 consecutive calendar years. The 2 year cap period starts when a child or teenager first gets an eligible dental service. To use this service, simply bring in the voucher/letter sent out by Medicare as well as your child’s medicare card.
